Using the silhouette pixscan mat.
Select load cut mat from the display.
Click send to silhouette.
Your machine will roll your mat into the cutting area.
The pixscan mat comes with its own registration marks which allows it to use the silhouette s optical scanner to find the right place to cut.
It is simple and easy to use and the possibilities are endless as to what kinds of creations you can make using the pixscan mat.
Using a pixscan mat can be so advantageous but sometimes completing that camera calibration can be frustrating.
Any material placed on the mat can be imported into silhouette studio via scanner or camera and then have cut lines assigned through tracing drawing tools or opening designs.

On the original cameo the marking is the same color as the base of the machine grey but it is blue on the cameo 2 and cameo 3.

When loading the mat into your cameo the left edge of the mat should be aligned with the alignment marking on the far left of the machine.
Load your pixscan mat into the cameo.
Use the blue line on the left hand side of your machine as a guide to align your mat.
Print the labels and trim down to about an 8 10 size.
Camera calibration can be tricky and for unknown reasons.
Place on your pixscan mat and take a photo with your phone or camera.
Make sure the arrow on the top of the mat is pointing into the machine.
